The Basics of Bladeless LASIK Eye Surgery

 All LASIK eye surgeries have replaced the mechanical tools that are associated with surgeries. This kind of surgery utilizes two forms of lasers: The Excimer Laser and the Femtosecond Laser.  Kinds of Bladeless LASIK Eye Surgery The Femtosecond laser surgery involves directing the laser energy in a precise manner to create a very thin and hinged flap that can be lifted from the cornea of the eyes temporarily. The Excimer laser surgery involves the application of the laser to the surface of the eyes where tissue is removed in a precise pattern so that the shape of the cornea can be altered. In all kinds of procedures employed in LASIK, the flap that has been removed is put back into place and treated with a natural bandage to promote healing and comfort. Once the reshaping of the eye has been done with the LASIK procedure, the eye gains the ability to focus the light rays appropriately on the retina to promote sharper vision. The surgery has good outcomes and the complicat
